Flea Market Fun

In February, my girls and I set up shop at a Flea Market at their school. We'd been working on various projects to sell and had a great time making them. We did ...ok... at the Flea Market, but hopefully next time there will be more advertising to get more customers in the door.

Here are some of the pictures once we were all set up.

There are still some items for sale that I will be posting on the Oges Design page. Take a look and let me know if you see anything you just have to have. My 10-year old made the t-shirts and they turned out great. My 7-year old made the adorable bowls which turned out to be very popular. In addition, there are hats, ruffle scarves, Scrabble tile keychains (pick your initial), wine charms, earrings and a few other items. Feel free to look around.

More like a Mom

I'm constantly on a mission to learn new things. Recently, I've tried crocheting and I picked it up fairly quickly, if I do say so myself. My husband tells me I'm becoming more and more like a mom each year. He insists I should change my blog title to Domestically ENabled, but I am still learning. *** Hence, the slight title change.***

Keep in mind, I still cannot cook, I burn most things I try to bake, and I don't do the laundry. In our early married years, I turned a few of his things pink and I haven't really been asked to help out with laundry since. As far as food goes, even my kids don't ask me for anything tougher to make than a sandwich or something that can be microwaved. However, I do absolutely love to organize, I can clean a kitchen in no time, and I do all of the family finances. See, there are some benefits of being married to me. ;)

Even though we've been married for over 11 years and I've actually been a mom for 9 1/2 years, he seems to think that NOW I am becoming more like a mom. And as I opened my Christmas presents of yarn and a book on learning to knit, I realized that I am perfectly happy with his observation. So, if you are in need of an adorable scarf, I'm your girl!
