More like a Mom

I'm constantly on a mission to learn new things. Recently, I've tried crocheting and I picked it up fairly quickly, if I do say so myself. My husband tells me I'm becoming more and more like a mom each year. He insists I should change my blog title to Domestically ENabled, but I am still learning. *** Hence, the slight title change.***

Keep in mind, I still cannot cook, I burn most things I try to bake, and I don't do the laundry. In our early married years, I turned a few of his things pink and I haven't really been asked to help out with laundry since. As far as food goes, even my kids don't ask me for anything tougher to make than a sandwich or something that can be microwaved. However, I do absolutely love to organize, I can clean a kitchen in no time, and I do all of the family finances. See, there are some benefits of being married to me. ;)

Even though we've been married for over 11 years and I've actually been a mom for 9 1/2 years, he seems to think that NOW I am becoming more like a mom. And as I opened my Christmas presents of yarn and a book on learning to knit, I realized that I am perfectly happy with his observation. So, if you are in need of an adorable scarf, I'm your girl!

  1. Hey you and I sound the same. Although I've gotten slightly better at cooking if I do say so myself and have NO desire to knit. So scarf me up girl! :)

  2. LOL! Cooking still freaks me out. I tend to get a cooking version of road rage.

I'll have to take some pictures of some of the scarfs I've made so that I can send them out to friends. I'm sure I won't be able to wear them all :)
